Ernie Rogers has been selling Real Estate since Stonewall Jackson was a recruit at West Point. Well, maybe not that long, but that seems about right. Ernie is a broker for United Real Estate Richmond, an affiliate of United Country Real Estate based in Kansas City, Missouri. United Country was started in 1925. Three years later in 1928, they published their first real estate catalog, which coincidentally was the first real estate catalog in the country. There is a replica of it in the Smithsonian in Washington D.C. Ernie specializes in selling lifestyle properties such as golf property, country homes, waterfront homes, farms, recreational property, single family homes, and land for sale.
Ernie is a Past President for the Virginia Auctioneers Association and was the 2004-2005 Virginia State Champion Auctioneer. Ernie is a former Marine, a graduate of Arizona Western College, and was a mortgage banker for 17 years prior to starting his real estate and auction career in 1998. Ernie is a Virginia native and has traveled the world. Ernie was deducted into the Virginia Auctioneer Association Hall of Fame in January 2019.
Ernie is a Real Estate Broker in Virginia and North Carolina and is licensed in several states as an Auctioneer. Finally, Ernie conducts about 80-85 benefit and fundraising, and charity auctions each year through Blacktie Benefit Auctions throughout Virginia, Maryland, Florida, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia. Ernie is one of the top auctioneers in Virginia. He is an active member of the Midlothian Rotary Club, the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce, The Virginia Auctioneers Association, The Richmond Association of Realtors, and the Women’s Council of Realtors.
Ernie has been married for over 40 years and has a son, a daughter, and resides in Midlothian.
